**How you will create impact**:

- Maintaining excellent knowledge of claims databases, efficiently extracting data using Business Intelligence (BI) tools or programming languages and conducting the appropriate validations to ensure accuracy, completeness, interpretability and reconciliation of data.
- Participating in the design of dashboard and tool mock-ups including documenting detailed business requirements, supporting testing, providing training and offering suggestions for improvement.
- Utilizing descriptive analytics to attain diversified knowledge of claims data issues, impacts and potential solutions, including identifying and monitoring claims data trends and designing dashboards for effective claims portfolio management.
- Providing guidance, support and training to the Claims team on the use of dashboards and self-serve tools and assisting leaders in accessing and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
- Supporting the development, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of key performance metrics to support planning and execution assessments.

**To join our team**:

- You have five years of experience in a statistical, business intelligence or related analytics role.
- You have a post-secondary degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or a related discipline.
- You have advanced analytical skills, including demonstrated experience appropriately evaluating and resolving complex problems.
- You have working knowledge of programming languages, statistical methods, and business intelligence tools.

**What you need to know**:

- You will travel occasionally.
