**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track inventory levels and order status.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment for loading and unloading shipments.
- Perform order picking tasks with precision, ensuring that all items are correctly selected for shipment.
- Maintain an organized warehouse distribution area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) with accurate information regarding incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency in shipping and receiving operations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and report discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in training new staff on shipping/receiving procedures and equipment operation.
- Building crates for machines by using woodworking handtools.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse distribution is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and techniques.
- Experience using warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Proficient in operating forklifts; certification may be required based on company policy.
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices, including load/unload procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
