Operate heavy equipment such as motor scrapers, wheel loaders, excavators, bobcats, bulldozers, screening plants, crushing plants and/or stackers to excavate, move, crush, screen and load gravel, concrete, asphalt, or dirt.

Regular working hours: This will vary according to customer demand and weather conditions. Reporting manager will assign the schedule, you may be required to start earlier and or finish later than work times assigned.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform pre-operational checks on all machinery and equipment:Check fluid levels, gauges, meters, grease equipment daily, perform basic machine adjustments, maintenance, troubleshoot, track equipment must be cleaned daily.
- Complete Daily Machine check list.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Communicate efficiently and act in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.
- Able to work well independently and/or part of a team and demonstrate that you can be a team player.
- Cultivate and maintain a positive attitude with customer satisfaction.
- Exercise regular visual concentration and maintain a continuous focus:

- Sustain working outdoors and exposure to temperature and extreme climate changes (hot, dry, windy, rainy, cold, wet).
- Possess a valid or be willing to obtain the following certifications: WHIMIS, Workers Health and Safety Awareness, Working at Heights/Fall Arrest, First Aid
- Applicants with **Surface Miner Common Core Program (770210) modules with be considered first**

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
