**The Role**

The Grants Coordinator helps drive the efficient operations of the Foundation office and contributes to the overall success of its grantmaking. They provide essential administrative support to the Foundation and its programs across various Committees and initiatives. This role represents a pivotal mainstay of the Foundation and is often the first point of contact for many of its grantees. The Grants Coordinator will also contribute to key support functions including data storage efficiencies (e.g. SmartSimple/Sharepoint management).

The Grants Coordinator will work closely with other Foundation team members and report to the Operations Manager. It is expected that the Grants Coordinator will use the best practices and approaches set forth by the Foundation.

**Salary range**: $52,000 - $78,000 per year

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Program Coordination**
- Oversees individual grants within various committee portfolios to ensure effective oversight and accountability, including: liaising with grantees, executing agreements and amendments, and tracking grantee submissions (e.g. reports and budgets)
- Contributes to the development of granting program processes, report prototypes, and generates reports as required
- Supports accounting processes, including payment approval and tracking
- Supports communications needs, including program launch materials and outreach planning

**General Administration**
- Prepares templates, routine letters, and other communications
- Organizes and prepares materials for Committee and other meetings, including: agendas, briefings, grantee updates, recommendations, and financial reconciliations
- Takes minutes during Committee or other meetings
- Assists in tracking and reporting financials
- Tracks deadlines, including for Committee work, RSVPs, invitations, etc.
- Coordinates various meetings and events, and updates planning calendars as needed
- Supports reviewer and advisor recruitment needs
- Support and involvement with special projects, as required
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, work closely and collaboratively with team of Grants Coordinators, as well as other Foundation staff (including Program Directors and Managers)

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years of similar or relevant experience with preference for grants administration and reporting
- Demonstrated experience with numbers and numerical analysis
- Works well independently and within a team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication, including strong proofreading and editing skills
- Experience with document creation, design, and editing
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office suite
- Adaptable and flexible individual with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong ability to prioritize concurrent tasks
- Proactive and action-oriented personality; strong sense of pace and urgency
