Shipper and Receiver

**Scope of Work**

As a Shipper/Receiver, your main responsibility is to ensure that inventory is efficiently and accurately received at, or transferred from the factory. Our customers range from special forces teams, government agencies and weekend fishermen. Attention to detail and quality of work is key to being successful in this role.

**Major Responsibilities**

Responsible for receiving all incoming deliveries into the warehouse and ensuring deliveries are not damaged.

Assists with loading and unloading orders.

Prepares shipments (labelling, shrink-wrapping and palletizing).

Assists with overall warehouse maintenance and storage.

Operates forklift and/or other material handling equipment.

Sorting goods and packing parcels for outgoing order shipments.

Processing orders through a computerized shipping system.

Performing functions associated with picking and putting away product.

Operating manual and powered material handling equipment.

General clean-up of the warehouse and work areas.

Follow all regulated health & safety policies and procedures.

**Education and Experience**

Grade 12 or equivalent preferred.

Hands on work experience in a shipping/receiving environment.

Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Excellent planning and organization skills.

Ability to work within all levels of the organization.

**Salary**: $46,000.00-$54,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
