Are you looking to join a team that provides exceptional customer service and an unforgettable experience for our guests? If so, then we are looking for you We have new management and are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working hospitality workers to join our team.

The Manse is a long standing bed and breakfast style hotel within the heart of Picton P.E.C. walking distance to downtown amenities. We are centrally located, ideal for walkability to and from work. The culinary component of our Inn includes daily breakfast, and occasional dinner service.

We are currently seeking a part-time line cook/kitchen assistant, with priority to individuals interested in taking on other roles at the Inn as well (front of house serving, housekeeping, groundskeeping, etc.). As part of The Manse team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Your duties will Include, but not limited to:

- Preparing products and executing dishes to the Chef's specifications
- Maintaining a clean and exacting standard in the kitchen
- Interacting with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Assisting additional staff in day-to-day tasks that may include FOH duties or general property upkeep

Qualifications:

- Some experience in fine dining/ small upscale hospitality establishments preferred
- Knowledge and proficiency in pastry, sauce making, protein cooking, garde-manger, and other culinary skillsets considered an asset
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Smart serve, CPO, WSET, are all beneficial certifications
- Valid Canadian Work visa

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
