Centred Self offers psychodynamic psychotherapeutic services to individuals of all age ranges, as well as providing in-depth training, supervision, and mentoring to therapists who want to learn to provide more than just a ‘band-aid’ approach to therapy.

At Centred Self, the client - not some ‘step-by-step structure’ - comes first. We are committed to fostering the therapeutic relationship in order to delve into even the scariest depths with clients. Therefore, we seek a marketing intern who is passionate about mental health and can help us grow our YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn followership.

**Job description**

**Who we are looking for**:
This is a great role for anyone who is interested in building their professional portfolio and wants to get their ‘start’ in the role of brand marketing in a high-growth start-up company. You will get to learn and work alongside highly professional Psychotherapists and organizational leaders in a fast-paced, innovative, and rewarding environment.

The intern will also be vital in meeting and engaging with the associates at Centred Self, learning from them and their passions, so that the intern can write about associates effectively. The intern’s main tasks are to learn and grow at Centred Self so that they can be the best digital marketer that they desire to be. They will then take this learning into their future career as well as supporting Centred Self’s marketing team.

We are looking for someone curious, creative, and 100% dedicated to mental health promotion.
- Education: Minimum university undergrad diploma. You’re currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a relevant University or Graduate program (e.g. Communications, Business, Marketing, graphic design)
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to take initiative
- Open to feedback
- Sound strategic thinking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- You have a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
- Experience and knowledge in website design
- Ability to create content on various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok).
- You support and contribute to a healthy workplace that embraces lifelong learning, diversity, clinical teamwork, privacy, and adherence to professional standards of practice.

**Centred Self provides**:

- An honorarium of $1000 at the successful completion of internship

**Experience**:

- You’re currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a relevant University or Graduate program (e.g. Communications, Business, Marketing, graphic design)

**NB: We will also be considering personal portfolios (i.e. demonstrate your love for content creation and/or graphic design on a personal level by showing us some of the TikToks/YouTube videos, etc you’ve made for yourself) in lieu of relevant professional experience.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op

**Salary**: $1,000.00 per year
