Ivan’s Audio Visual is looking for someone to fill the role of Junior AV Installation Technician in Charlottetown. No experience is necessary as we will provide on the job training as you work with our current team of installers.

We are looking for someone who likes to learn new skills, is self-motivated, works well within a team setting or on their own, is handy with tools and has good communication skills. If you already have some basic AV integration or IT experience that's even better.

You must be a current resident of Canada, preferably already in the Charlottetown area, and have a valid driver’s license. You must be fluent in English, both written and verbal. You must also have some basic computer skills.

You may be fresh out of school or looking to make a career change to a field that would offer you new challenges. No two days are ever quite the same as you install audio and video equipment at commercial, education and government locations all over the province. One day you may be helping pull thousands of feet of cable in a large construction project and hanging a TV on the wall of a small boardroom the next.

The job is full-time (40 hrs./week) and in addition to the on-the-job training Ivan’s AV offers health, dental and insurance benefits, RRSP matching, subsidized work clothing program and skills upgrade training.

YOU MUST BE A CANADIAN CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT TO QUALIFY FOR THIS JOB. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE SCREENED FOR GOV OF CANADA SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Pay Range - $20-$24/hr. (will be reassessed after 3 months and again after 12 months)
