**SUMMARY**:
Being a part of the Leasing Team at First Capital is a rewarding and challenging opportunity to make an impact while supporting our tenants and cross-functional teams. The Leasing Coordinator will provide administrative support to our Western Leasing team, specifically the Edmonton portfolio, with respect to the preparation of leasing documentation, performance reports, marketing material, transactional data entry, and overall analysis for various properties and special projects. The Leasing Coordinator will report directly to the Director, Leasing and work closely with the rest of the Leasing team and various internal teams.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Provide administrative support, including preparing general correspondence, preparation of expense reports, preparing various meeting materials.
- Support leasing transaction data entry; Enter and track deals in View the Space (VTS) system.
- Prepare leasing documentation and lease summaries.
- Track of all assignments, lease expiries, option dates and condition precedents.
- Create and maintain Leasing site plans and property portfolio binders using Adobe Illustrator software.
- Ensure tenant possession dates are met.
- Support the preparation of annual leasing budgets and reforecast throughout the year.
- Prepare fact sheets and marketing packages to ensure all valuable marketing information is readily available.
- Establish, manage, and maintain up to date the aerial and ground photos database for all Calgary properties.
- Responsible for the researching and development of a strategic mapping system used for internal analysis.
- Quarterly review and update of Edmonton portfolio on FCR web site.
- Assist in the completion of quarterly supplemental package submitted to Senior Management.
- Participate in special projects and take on other duties, as assigned.
**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:
**_ Required level of education and related experience:_**
- Post-secondary education in Real Estate, Business, or related field.
- Previous work-related or internship experience as an asset.
**_ Specific skills needed to be successful:_**
- A team-player; willing to step in and lend a hand as needed and you identify the opportunities to do so.
- Well-developed communication skills to effectively communicate across all levels within and outside the organization.
- Outstanding organizational capabilities with ability to prioritize.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to gather information and synthesize
- Experience with VTS, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Map Point as an asset.
