Edmonton, Canada Shield Foundation Repair Full time

The Operations Supervisor reports directly to the President at Shield Foundation Repair.

A list of responsibilities/tasks include:

- Review job orders and assign work to crews; manage work schedule and job completion; record daily updates
- Call customers to set up jobs and provide daily job status updates; deal with customer inquiries: ETA, deficiencies, active job questions
- Daily site visits, training and general supervision of crews; ensure COR safety measures are implemented and adhered to
- Conduct final job inspections and manage paperwork flow
- Arrange Utility Locates
- Organize plumbers, electricians and AC remove/reset
- Update and maintain daily status spreadsheets; provide job status updates to management
- Order inventory, supplies and materials for shop and jobs
- Assist in developing systems/process and monitoring job costing
- Manage equipment and tool sign-out/sign-in; report damaged or non-functioning tools and equipment to management; assist in facilitation of repairs
- Assist in managing truck maintenance/safety and paperwork, including fueling vehicles, ensuring crews maintain supplies and cleanliness
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization
- Assists Operations Manager and other duties as required
- Assist Shield Remediation in transporting trailer and equipment to site and back, assist with picking up and delivery of supplies

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 Years of construction/renovation/restoration experience in a leadership role
- Clear understanding of construction and construction business processes
- Waterproofing/foundation repair experience/knowledge is an asset
- Ability to lead crews in an organized and respectful manner
- Proven experience in managing job schedules from start to finish
- Proven experience with customer service and positive interaction
- Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel experience is a must, ability to update and maintain spreadsheets and manage paperwork flow
- Ability to follow direction and work independently
- Strong organization skills, clear communication skills, attention to detail
- Problem solving skills, forward thinking, ability to handle time sensitive projects and stressful situations
- Proven experience in adhering to safety protocols and implementing safe, consistent work processes
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean abstract is a must

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00 per year
