The Community Resource and Outcomes Facilitator is responsible for meeting the vision, mission and values of Epic Opportunities while developing and implementing creative strategies that will support the people we serve to gain valued social roles and relationships through connections within their community. The Facilitator will liaise and develop strategic partnerships with community organizations that build inclusive environments for people with intellectual disabilities to participate and contribute.

This is a full-time (80 hours biweekly) position.

**We will count on you to**:

- Facilitate Personal Outcome Measures work within Epic Opportunities.
- Promote the right to choice, full inclusion and community participation as well as empower individuals to self-advocate throughout the goal-setting process.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to meet organizational objectives through development of creative partnerships with other community organizations.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with families and support networks.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand the problem and respond to various situations.
- Ability to network with external professionals and draw expertise from these relationships to inform best practices and meet a quality framework.
- Ability to lead and develop others to assist vulnerable people in achieving personal outcomes.
- Demonstrate a commitment to community living and full inclusion.
- A valid Manitoba Driver’s License and use of a personal vehicle is required.

**Qualifications and experience we are looking for**:

- Degree in Social Services or Disability and Community Support Diploma.
- Previous work experience in human services with a focus in disability supports an asset.
- Other combinations of education and experience will be considered.

**Required Documentation**:

- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Child Abuse Registry check.

Pay: $20.00-$21.75 per hour
