**Janitor/Custodian Position**

**Job brief**

Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NJ. The Janitor/Custodian position is full time and based at one of our shop locations in Trenton, Ontario.

We are looking for a Janitor, or Custodian, to do major cleaning in our Manufacturing Plant, this person will take care of our building and carry out cleaning duties mainly in Front Office/Reception, Lunch Room and Washrooms.

**Responsibilities**
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Proven working experience as a Janitor
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Must be well organized, self-motivated and result driven to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
- High school degree

**Asset**
- Previous experience in Manufacturing Janitorial

Shift is Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
