Power Platform Lead

**Position Summary**:
The Microsoft Power Platform Lead will report into the Global Data Service & Platform team and will provide leadership in establishing a framework for designing, deploying, supporting and sustainment of power platform-based Enterprise Solutions. This role will be also accountable for administration of the Power Platform Suite (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents).

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Drive Power Platform implementations through all project phases including discover, definition, build, test, and deploy
- Help in driving the adoption of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents usage.
- Should be able to understand requirements and challenges and recommend suitable and optimal solutions.
- Guide 3rd party developers and administrators with McCain technical architecture and best practices.
- Help in designing a governance framework and reusable components for enterprise adoption of Power Platform.
- Provide technical advice to users and team members on best practices for Power Platform development
- Responsible for managing the performance and scalability of Power Platform Suite.
- Supports administration, monitoring, and system health checks.
- Responsible for the setup of environments and configuring solutions.

- Understanding of all Custom Connectors in Power platform.
- Experience with installation and configuration of data gateways and data sources and troubleshoot any connectivity issues.
- Having ability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes to better help to maintain the smooth functioning of Power Platform environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and must possess exceptional ability to work well with individuals and teams at all levels.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science, Information Management, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 8 years of overall IT experience with strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform Suite.
- Knowledge on handling DEV/UAT/PROD promotion activities.
- Knowledge on user management, Security, performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Strong knowledge of database programming languages like Microsoft SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
