PBN Construction is a northern Saskatchewan Aboriginal owned and light civil services company. PBN is hiring a full-time **PROJECT MANAGER. ** This position is based out of the Saskatoon, SK office on a Monday to Friday schedule. Flexibility in travelling to remote work sites and PBN offices will be required regularly.
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of PBN’s Civil Construction Projects
This position is a safety sensitive position and as such the successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment fit for duty drug & alcohol test.
**More specifically, you will**:
- Estimates & Project Planning
- Develop and manage project bids, proposals, RFPs, tenders, estimates, contracts and budgets related to a variety of construction projects;
- Develop and keep updated project work plans and schedules using Microsoft Project / B2W or client methodologies.
- Work closely with PBN Management to identify and coordinate resources (labour, equipment and material) needed to efficiently complete projects;
- Identify constructions crews and assign individuals responsibility;
- Procure project materials to facilitate execution of projects;
- Hire and coordinate work of sub-trades.
- Project Execution
- Actively track and control project expenses while minimizing risks to the project;
- Ensure that construction activities are completed safely and within project scope, schedule and budget;
- Supervise and manage the construction process with the site team;
- Actively manage project changes by coordinating and communicating changes with appropriate personnel and ensuring documentation updates are complete;
- Ensure that material and equipment deliveries are expedited and coordinated;
- Ensure quality management protocol are identified and followed;
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and high quality workmanship;
- Perform regular site visits (to remote locations) to monitor project progress, maintain relationships and support projects;
- Attend site meetings when required and capture necessary information;
- Ensure document control procedures are followed and that all project documents are completed and filed accordingly including project close out documents.
**Salary**: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- Saskatoon, SK S7K5W4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Project management: 5 years (preferred)
