Field Service Technician

- Install, demonstrate, maintain and repair marking, coding and labeling equipment
- Train customer operators and maintenance personnel
- Develop reports in keeping with company reporting mechanisms
- Assess customer needs and opportunities in order to optimize their equipment and processes
- Propose solutions such as preventive maintenance programs and communicate information regarding identified improvements to their manager
- Share and exchange solutions with other service technicians and sales managers
- Keep current on all company products by attending training sessions (onsite/offsite)
- Assist in production floor, FAT, office duties when not required to be in the field
- Keep current on trends from both market & technical standpoints

**Are you excited about this work?**
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Electromechanical Automation, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered
- Ability to identify customer needs and align them with appropriate company products and services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (Syteline considered an asset)
- Strong technical aptitude, with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize tasks independently with mínimal supervision
- Willingness to obtain and maintain PMMI certification (cost covered by the company)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Willing and able to travel up to 60%, including throughout Canada, the U.S., and occasional international travel (by car or air)
