Toronto, Canada Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Full time

The Institute for Mental Health Policy Research, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), is seeking two full-time, contract (until December 2025) Research Analysts. The Research Analysts will work collaboratively as part of a team of researchers exploring how gender may influence experience and outcomes of a remedial education program for impaired driving offenders. The Research Analysts will report to a Scientist leading the respective program of research. Specifically, the Research Analysts will be required to:

- Conduct research reviews of scientific literature regarding the influence of gender in substance use treatment (e.g., literature searches, scoping and systematic reviews, writing literature reviews, etc.)
- Support the development of research protocols and submissions to the research ethics board and other regulatory bodies
- Recruit remedial education program participants to participate in an interview study
- Conduct qualitative interviews with remedial education program participants
- Review interview transcripts for accuracy
- Conduct qualitative analyses of interview transcripts (e.g., coding transcripts, identifying themes)
- Perform day-to-day administrative duties and research activities across research projects and groups as required
- Write up study results for publications and reports (e.g., draft academic manuscripts)
- Engage in knowledge translation activities (e.g., creating presentations, infographics, etc.)
- Organize and participate in meetings with stakeholders and research working groups

**Job Requirements**
- Possess a Bachelor (honours) degree in psychology, public health, or related discipline, in combination with one (1) year of post-graduate experience working in a relevant research setting
- Have demonstrated research skills, including conducting literature searches and reviews, summarizing research findings, and preparing scientific papers or reports
- Have experience conducting qualitative interviews
- Have excellent oral communication skills, as it relates to qualitative research and interviewing
- Have experience conducting qualitative analyses (i.e., developing codes, identifying themes)
- Have strong writing skills, as demonstrated through authoring papers, academic publications and/or reports
- Have proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills as the individual will be required to work independently as well as within a team setting

Experience with Covidence, Endnote or similar reference management tool is required. Experience with NVivo or similar qualitative analysis software tool is mandatory.
