As an Education Specialist, you’ll play a key role in this high-performing and growing team, who exist to create skilled and confident customers who are able to get the most out of the Xero platform. To ensure our customer’s success, the education team works closely with our internal teams such as the Sales, Partner Services, Product, Marketing and Customer Support teams. Education specialists have the technical expertise, people skills and our ‘wow factor’ is the ability to communicate technical advice in a simple manner. Customer Success contributes to Xero’s purpose to "Make life better for people in small business, their advisors and communities around the world by ‘ _Unlocking the power of Xero for everyone by connecting them to knowledge and each other’_". Working as part of the Customer Success Leadership Team, you’ll contribute to and execute the collective team vision and strategy to ensure we achieve our aspirations so we can claim; - We are the most valued source of advice for small businesses and their advisors - We are the world leaders in digital Customer Success - We are a strategic force for delivering Xero's performance at scale **What You'll Do** Aside from the day-to-day delivery of content, you’ll get involved in a hugely diverse range of special projects, including supporting new product launches, presenting at large scale industry events (e.g Xerocon, Roadshows, Xero Talks) and designing new ways to deliver education material. **Success looks like**: - Maintain a world-class Net Promoter Score (NPS) for Xero Education - Create and deliver beautiful education in line with Xero’s content strategy - Collaborative efforts with the cross functional teams to ensure we all meet the key results **What you’ll bring with you**: - Enthusiasm for the emerging cloud accounting market and its new opportunities - Outstanding communication, planning and presentation skills - Demonstrated initiative and ability to work autonomously and across teamsAttention to detail and follow-up - Highly organized and ability to manage time to meet deadlines for simultaneous projects - Customer focused, positive and friendly attitude - 2+ years experience in tax and operational activities of an accounting and/or bookkeeping firm - Experience with delivering presentations to customers and stakeholders - Proven problem solving experience in a training environment - Proficiency in cloud-based workflow tools - Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance or CPA certification is a plus - Proficiency in curriculum design and delivery a plus Why Xero?
