Our Banking client in **TORONTO, Ontario** is looking to hire a **Business Analyst - IT** for a **24-months contract role.**

**What you will be doing**
- Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities.
- Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.
- Manage various Agile ceremonies, alongside the Product Owner.
- Manage risks, assumptions, and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties.
- Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review.
- Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standards in Confluence.
- Provide ongoing requirements/build/testing support to the developers and QA team.
- Provide consulting services to business partners on new initiatives.
- Continually enhance skills and build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business, and information technology.
- Provide guidance and support to build the capabilities of the junior Bas.

**What you will need to succeed**

**Must Have Skills**:

- 5-10 years professional BA/BSA experience in a project-based Agile environment. Expert at requirements gathering, documentation, testing and developing high level plans.
- Brokerage /Investments, Personal Finance, and Wealth Management industry knowledge/experience.
- Proven experience in Agile methodology.
- Proven ability to gather Business and Systems requirements independently, having strong business analysis and systems analysis skills.
- Proven experience in Requirements analysis and quality documentation: Scope Modelling, Business Process Modelling, Data Requirements, Business Rules Analysis, Non-Functional Requirements, User Stories, Story.
- Decomposition, and Story Mapping, Acceptance and Evaluation Criteria Definition.
- Experience working on medium to large projects - over $1 million.
- Knowledge of requirements documentation and modeling tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA/Confluence).
- University Bachelor’s degree.

**Nice have skills**:

- Banking BA/BSA Curriculum Certificate.
- Masters Certificate in Business Analysis.
- Experience in enterprise and digital projects.
- Knowledge of current Accessibility standards (AODA and WCAG 2.0/2.1).
