The Lycée international de Calgary, a French Ministry of Education, Alberta Education, and CAIS accredited French bilingual school of approximately 450 students total, is seeking a Student Support Facilitator to join our team and play a key role in supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support and monitor students during class, lunch, and school-wide activities to promote safety and a positive learning environment
- Facilitate small group work and provide individual support under teacher direction
- Collaborate with teachers and counsellors to identify and support students with additional learning needs
- Implement and provide feedback on student accommodations and strategies to academic directors
- Assist students in using educational technology and learning resources effectively
- Support students during exams, particularly those requiring accommodations
- Coordinate with external specialists (e.g., psychologists, special educators) to ensure comprehensive support
- Organize and lead after-school academic help sessions
- Help new students integrate smoothly into the classroom and broader school community
- Participate in professional development and contribute to school events and student-focused projects

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma required
- Completion of a recognized Education Assistant program (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with children or youth in a school, camp, or support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- Comfortable using basic educational technology tools
- Fully bilingual (French and English)

**Other requirements**:

- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Up to date (within 3 years) Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Valid Work Permit holder without restrictions.
