As a Grounds Maintenance Crew Lead, you will manage, direct, and coach the crew. You will be the first point of contact for the customer and associates, ensuring their health and safety are a priority, and the quality of work is up to standards.

**Job Duties**
- Assist with employee training.
- Establish weekly maintenance schedules for clients.
- Ensure job sites, vehicles, tools, and equipment are safe for associates.
- Manage client relationships.
- Coach staff on safely and correctly using equipment, machines, and tools.
- Communicate expectations with clients as well as staff.
- Follow up with customers to ensure quality work was completed.
- Make recommendations to staff or clients using your expertise.
- Assist with the day-to-day functions and tasks.
- Keep communication open with upper Management.
- Perform site inspections.
- Operate weed eaters, power mowers, backpack sprayers, power edgers, hoes, shovels, hand tools, and related landscape equipment as required.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- College Diploma, Apprenticeship, CHT or CLT an asset
- 3-5 years of experience in landscape maintenance
- WHMIS, CPR, First AID, and safety and equipment operation certifications an asset
- Ability to train and coach the team
- Knowledge of lawn maintenance best practices
- Exceptional observation skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Moderate physical stamina and strength
- Excellent time management skills
- Multi-task and prioritize tasks/projects
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements and policies
- Reliable transportation

**Salary Range**

$24 - 30 per hour
