To provide on-site coordination for all phases of work, including coordination team members, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

Operations manager shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.

**Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities of Superintendent**:

- Preside at pre-work meeting with team members.
- Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion. **(30-day, 60-day, 90-day schedules)**:

- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
- Identify conflicts in work progress and communicate them to the general manager for resolution.
- Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the job-site. With hours worked for your crew.
- Perform managerial duties at multiple job-sites, simultaneously.
- Walk all aspects of the job site multiple times a day to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
- Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
- Ensure that he job-site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
- Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

**Secondary functions**:

- Identify streamlining efficiency opportunities and cost reduction strategies with the operations and present findings along with cost savings to your project manager.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Opening the work site at beginning of the day and securing the job-site and the end of the day.
- Assist in hiring sub-tier employees.

**Salary**: $41,212.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Fort Saskatchewan, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- logistics: 3 years (preferred)
