Duties and Responsibilities - BIM modeling of building mechanical (HVAC and plumbing) services and associated equipment. - BIM development of group’s standards and templates including execution of BIM management techniques, analyze and optimize BIM processes. - Preparation and coordination of approvals, tender documents, cost estimating, contract documents, design reports/memoranda and assist with client design presentations.
- Support engineering efforts for heating/cooling loads calculations, design of ventilation systems, plumbing, ductwork, fueling systems, and fire protection systems. - Assist in the preparation of drawings, energy models and specifications as required. - Participation in contract administration services and inspections of HVAC and plumbing installations where required. - Other duties as required where appropriate for the position.

Qualifications - An applicable degree or diploma in architectural or engineering technology - 2-3 years of related experience drafting, designing, and modeling, with an interest in conducting site work on occasion as well - Educational or work experience in drafting (AutoCAD), BIM modelling (Revit) and designing. - In-depth knowledge of construction methodology, building assemblies, materials - Any of Navisworks, Revit add-ins related to structural design or Microstation experience will be considered an asset. - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
