**The Position**:
**Job Title: Resource and Centre Support Worker, Early Parenthood and Infant Mental Health (EPIMH) Division**
**Job Type: Full Time Position (35 hours/week)
- Contract position (maternity leave coverage for 12 months)**

**Position Overview**:
Kindred is seeking a dynamic individual that will help support young parents and their children at Louise Dean
**Key Accountabilities** (job functions include but are not limited to):
- Support clients to complete documentation and navigate systems to receive supports and access external referrals; such as basic needs, Fair Entry, Food Bank, Made by Momma;
- Support clients to learn to navigate systems and advocate for themselves; specifically with housing, scholarships, child care, etc.;
- Support distribution of various internal resources and create and sustain tracking systems of their use such as taxi chits, gift cards and bus tickets;
- General Centre support including ordering supplies, organizing donations and other communal areas of the Centre;
- Organize and support volunteers in collaboration with our Communications team and program point person;
- Participate in individual and group supervision, team/agency/division meetings, live observations and professional development opportunities;
- Work collaboratively with other program staff and LDC partners;
- Consultation with supervisor, colleagues, natural supports and other professionals;
- Create positive working relationships with agencies staff we refer to regularly and agency partners;
- Support division needs as they arise;
- Positively represent Kindred and the EPIMH division with sector partners, donors, volunteers and other stakeholders;
- Participate in committees and events that support the agency and the division.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related Human Services field or diploma with experience aligned with the position;
- 3-5 years working with hard-to-reach youth;
- Takes a posture of Cultural humility in working with diverse populations; experience with Indigenous and/or Immigrant families is an asset;
- Experience with quality assurance, data management, program outcome measurements and evaluation, and co-creation of reports;
- Familiarity with using computerized tools (e.g., zoom, MS teams, databases) for communication and case management is expected;
- Competent problems-solver and ability to take initiative, prioritize and follow through on a task;
- Ability to cross train to another divisional role to provide back up when needed;
- Knowledge of adolescent development, domestic violence, substance abuse and mental health;
- Knowledge of Trauma-informed practice, Systems theory and working through a family lens;
- Extensive knowledge of community resources for basic needs, education and employment programming;
- Excellent organization, prioritizing and tracking skills;
- Eligible and in good standing with professional governing body if applicable.

**Other Requirements**:
- Valid driver’s license and use of a vehicle with appropriate insurance;
- Expectation of flexibility with hours to meet client need; some evening work required.
