Accounting Administrator

Do you have a knack for problem solving and enjoy building meaningful relationships?

As an accounting administrator-advertising, you will be responsible for processing a large volume of advertising invoices and resolving invoice or payment related issues. You will support advertising vendors by professionally addressing their inquiries in a timely manner and collaborate with the Best Buy marketing teams.

What you’ll do:

- Batch and code advertising invoices, update advertising database to reflect invoices uploaded to Oracle
- Allocate Advertising PNs (Purchase Numbers) to invoices, includes data entry and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain relationship with vendors and business teams by ensuring timely resolutions on payment and invoice inquiries
- Coordinate new advertising vendor setup and modifications to existing vendor setup
- Investigate aged PNs that have not been invoiced and coordinate the credit take back process with the marketing team
- Perform required PN adjustments and updates within the advertising database
- Assists intermediate accountant - advertising and senior manager with reporting requirements and other related tasks and complete ad hoc requests as assigned
- Cross-train within the department and support during vacation absences and enhance the ability to distribute tasks as they evolve

- Excellent communication skills
- Accounts Payable experience
- Diploma in Accounting or other related discipline
