Parts Advisor

As the demand for Toyota vehicles grows, so does our need for more talented individuals to join our team. We are looking for a motivated, highly organized individual with a great attitude to join our team as a Part’s Advisor.
**Roles and responsibilities**:
- Provide price quotes and other related parts information to customers
- Provide technicians across 3 shops with their parts accurately and efficiently to ensure they have all the required parts for the repair
- Retrieve parts from stock if available or by ordering from manufacturer and aftermarket vendors
- Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines, escalating to management when necessary
- Complete daily orders, process parts invoices and collect payment
- Ensure that parts are correctly checked against appointment notes, binned and labeled accordingly
- Assist in parts ordering, stocking, returns and maintaining all parts inventory
- Receiving freight and parts shipments ensuring all parts are accounted for and receipted into inventory
- Promote retail and wholesale sales by building relationships with external customers
- Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders when necessary.
- Notify the service advisors and customers when special ordered parts have been received
- Occasional delivery of parts in company truck to local customers (mechanical shops, body shops, other dealerships)
- Physical inventory management, ensuring physical inventory matches software inventory amounts
- Report any stock damage or losses to the Parts Manager
**Qualifications**:
- 1 year of Parts Advisor experience preferred, but not necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to read, comprehend information and able to understand and follow directions
- Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact and provide effective service to all customers, both internal and retail
- Experience with ordering, tracking and stocking is preferred
- A current, valid drivers license is required
- Must be able to lift between 50-80lbs
