Department Overview The operator will be working in the SMT area and on SMT processes.
**Job Description**:
Verify components according to the kit list

Set up and replenish component reels

Basic operation of equipment, including screen printer, SPI machine, SMT machine, reflow oven and AOI machine

Inspect panels for correct component placement

Storing completed panels in appropriate storage area

Complete production documentation as required

Perform level 1 equipment maintenance tasks as required

Report machine and quality issues to Team Lead

Comply with Company guidelines, safe work procedures and regulatory requirements per Avigilon Quality System

Maintaining a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions

Follow ESD safe handling practices

Ability to work overtime and weekend shifts as required

Standing walking for extended periods of time

Minimal bending, stooping, crouching, twisting and overhead lifting

Regular lifting of up to 5kg

Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

High attention to detail and operating parameters is essential

Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and training

Ability to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining a dedication to quality and safety

Following direction while working with a team and maintaining a positive and respectful workplace

Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving

Good communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English

Basic Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
