Carpenter Canada Co. has an immediate opening for a **Forklift Operator/Material Handler **at our **Woodbridge, ON** manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for safe, accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders while adhering to the Company’s guiding principles and value of order.

**Responsibilities**:

- Must be able to operate a forklift to transport material and load/unload trailers.
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, occupational health and safety.
- Perform pre-use vehicle inspection to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Maintain daily logs, inspection logs and other necessary paperwork.
- Adheres to all company's policies and procedures.
- Physically capable to tie down loads properly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of high school
- Valid Forklift Certificate.
- 1 - 3 years experience operating a forklift;
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Possess a positive, professional attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.73-$22.17 per hour
