**Accounts Payable Associate**

**As our Accounts Payable Associate you will provide accurate, efficient and timely processing of verified accounts payable invoices.**

**Position Overview**:

- Assist with **processing verified accounts payable invoices** for all associated companies.
- Assist with **weekly cheque/EFT runs**.
- Receive and resolve invoice inquiries and statements from suppliers.
- Process **Visa transactions** and assist with card administration.
- Maintain equipment database within the accounting software.
- Perform **monthly accounts payable-related general ledger account reconciliations**.
- Assist with maintaining **provincial and general vehicle insurance**.
- Provide **support to Project Managers** with regards to job cost information/reporting.
- Prepare **accounts payable reconciliations and corresponding backup** for year end audits.
- Provide filing support.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications Needed**:

- **Minimum 2 years of progressive work experience in accounting field.**:

- High attention to detail, **highly organized with strong analytical problem-solving skills** complimented with strong time management and the ability to prioritize.
- Proficient with **MS Office Suite** and experience using **accounting software packages**.***
