Second-to-none time management and organizational skills enable the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to excel and deliver high-quality, impactful results. What Will You Do?
- In collaboration with the HR team, spearhead the recruitment marketing initiatives and events, including internal and external job fairs, career fairs, and strategic recruitment campaigns.
- Champion Weldco as an employer of choice by leveraging innovative sourcing strategies and fostering meaningful community engagement.
- Standardize job ads and supporting materials to reflect Weldco’s established employer branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, including the creation of new positions and the development of job descriptions aligned with organizational goals.
- Leverage innovative sourcing strategies, such as job fairs, partnerships with post-secondary institutions, professional networks, and platforms like LinkedIn, to build and sustain robust talent pipelines across Canada.
- Coordinate and, when required, participate in interviews, contributing to the development of targeted interview questions and impartial selection criteria.
- Conduct reference and background checks when required, ensuring thorough and timely completion.
- Manage internal recruitment processes, including employee transfers and promotions, ensuring compliance with internal standards and procedures.
- Provide strategic, solution-based recommendations to attract and retain top talent.

Sound Familiar?
- Diploma or certificate in human resources management
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in business administration within a fast-paced work environment.
- Superior computer skills with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in HRIS systems.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to build and sustain lasting relationships with key internal stakeholders and employees.
- High degree of professionalism and a proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Possess a solid understanding of employment legislation and best practices pertaining to recruitment, onboarding, and overall HR compliance.
- Technologically adept and proficient in a range of HR systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Lightning speed and agility in working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing demands, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Customer-obsession mindset with a proactive and responsive approach to internal and external inquiries.
