_Surfacing Lab Technician (Optical)_

**OPTICIAN LICENSE IS NOT REQUIRED.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Block optical lenses
- Be able to read prescriptions
- Operate Optical machinery, edging, inserting lenses
- Assist in basic Lab operations
- Ability to use Lensometer
- Inspection of optical Lenses
- Perform first/final Inspection
- Perform repairs on frames, comfortable with using tools
- Maintain a clean and organize Lab
- Other duties may assign

Flexible hours. This job can be an addition to other job.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in optical lab

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
