Full-Service Supply Chain Management Services business located in Oakville looking to add a Freight Brokerage Dispatch Planner to the team. It is a fast-paced and huge learning environment.

This position will be in-office in Oakville, ON.

**Core Competencies**:

- Ideally have 2+ years of experience in a Freight Brokerage environment but open to excellent customer service experience within the transportation sector and willing to train within freight brokerage
- Well-versed in both domestic and transborder conditions of carriage. Including all rules, regulations & other related KRAs that affect pricing.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft EXCEL
- Ability to multi-task as required
- Above-average organizational skills
- Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act
- Exposure to Accellos/ Freightlogix technology platforms is desirable.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- TEAM Player

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with carriers daily
- Work with the Fleet team to best utilize assets
- Build strong relationships with customers & carriers
- Quote rates to customers as required
- Communicate service issues as required and develop solutions.
- Research carrier cost discrepancies as required
- Work with A/P as required
- Work with Billing as required
- Co-ordinate inbound distribution loads with the Operations team
- Order entry as required
- Order tracking daily
- Ongoing carrier sourcing
- Update Freightlogix Daily
- Complete Ontime Delivery Reports as required
