**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High school diploma
- One or more years of upholstery and wood working repair experience preferred.
- Ability to evaluate and assess problems and evaluate repair needs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Physical lifting of furniture 50-75 pounds.
- Ability to operate equipment and power tools required for the job.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Good customer service skills and ability to satisfy customers.
- Ability to bend, lift, and use hands and arms.
- Ability to climb, push pull, lift carry, walk and maneuver furniture and equipment.
- A vehicle to travel to the customer’s home.
- A dedicated space to repair the furniture.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As a contractor, you would be responsible for repairing all types of furniture items. This would include:

- Travel to customer's homes to accomplish repair needs.
- Order parts and compile daily work sheets. (Technician is required to keep and submit all paperwork and records)
- Wood Repairs - Technician will be required to make professional level repairs including filing, colouring, gluing, veneer, case frame and any other repairs necessary to restore company and customer furniture to original factory condition, or to maximize value.
- Upholstered Furniture - Technician will be required to make professional level upholstery repair including fabric, sewing, frame, mechanisms, electric components, springs, cushioning, and any other repairs necessary to restore company and customer furniture to original factory condition to maximize value.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour
