**About the Role**:
We are seeking a compassionate, community-oriented **Staff Chaplain **to provide spiritual care, religious guidance and cultural expertise within our organization. Reporting to the Senior Chaplain, the Staff Chaplain will support clients, families, and staff, fostering a welcoming environment that respects Jewish traditions and values. This role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure culturally informed and sensitive care in alignment with our mission.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide spiritual support, rabbinic counselling to clients, families and staff, offering guidance on Jewish law and traditions, particularly in healthcare, end-of-life care and life events.
- Conduct religious services, including holiday observances and memorial services, as well as educational programs to foster cultural and spiritual understanding.
- Act as a liaison between the Agency and local Jewish communities, building strong relationships with community clergy and spiritual leaders to support client needs.
- Offer pastoral care and support during crisis situations, including bereavement, and provide ethical guidance from a Jewish perspective in complex cases
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

- Rabbinic ordination from a recognized seminary or advanced Jewish studies at a recognized seminary.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in chaplaincy, counselling or related pastoral work such as synagogue leadership.
- Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) certification or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Jewish customs and law across different movements
- Experience in healthcare or social service settings is an asset
- Proficiency in Hebrew is required; Yiddish or Russian are beneficial.
