Matrix is hiring for a Shop Hand/Labourer for a permanent role for our client. This is a great opportunity to use your skills and develop your career.

**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for general facility up-keep, maintenance, and organization of equipment, vehicles, and materials.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Experience performing centrifuge repair with a working knowledge of centrifuge operation.
- Working knowledge of gearbox and centrifugal pump repair and/or operation is considered an asset.
- Millwright Apprentice or related trade certification is an asset.
- Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50lbs for extended periods of time.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and customer service.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently perform the job productively under tight deadlines.
- Must have positive communication and interpersonal skills.

**Qualifications/Competencies**:
The individual in this role will have:
