Role Description

We are seeking Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches for all age groups, U11 to U18, for both boys' and girls' teams, for our spring season (April to early July). The season follows evaluations in December and January. This is a contract, on-site position based in Edmonton, AB, with competitive pay for both Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or assist in training sessions, practices, and game strategies.

Foster team chemistry, develop skills, and create a motivating atmosphere.

Ensure effective communication with players, parents, and club staff.

Collaborate with other coaches to deliver a cohesive coaching program.

Monitor athlete progress, set goals, and provide feedback for individual development.

Support player well-being both on and off the court.

**Qualifications**:
Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and strategies.

Experience in basketball coaching or playing (Head Coach role requires more experience).

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop players of all skill levels.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Certification in coaching or a related field is highly desirable.

Previous coaching experience, particularly at the competitive level, is a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
