The Opportunity:
At URSA we are looking to add a Community Rehabilitation Worker (“CRW”) to our Brain Injury Services team in a program that provides brain injury survivors supports to develop or relearn their skills in order to maximize their independence.
This program is based out of two office locations in the SE and SW sections of the city, but services are provided in the individual’s home and in the community in and around Calgary. Integral to this role is the ability to work with a variety of brain injury survivors with varying levels of abilities and presence of co-occurring conditions. Programming is person centered and delivered to empower the individual to achieve their goals.
**The vacant lines available are: Monday - Friday (hours vary between 0900 - 1800) OR Tuesday - Saturday (hours vary between 0900 - 1800)
Flexibility may be required to accommodate program needs.

What you'll bring:
Willing to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of the program and organization
Demonstrate ability to coordinate services within a multi disciplinary team
Experience working with brain injury survivors or other cognitive disabilities
Working with an understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and experience within the mental health or addictions field is considered an asset
Have current Standard First Aid and level C CPR
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
Clear Child Intervention Record Check
A valid Class 5 driver’s license with 3 years clear driving record in Canada
A minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance
Preference will be given to those who have experience with case management and or knowledge of available Calgary community resources.
