**Job Summary**:
We are an innovative electrical contractor seeking a dedicated and skilled **Estimator** to join our growing team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on sustainable electrification projects, including LED lighting, EV charging, and Solar installations. Reporting to the CEO, you will play a critical role in estimating projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This is a **part time** remote position with site visits as required, offering competitive compensation, starting at $40-$52 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a Health Spending Account, Thrive gear, and two weeks of paid vacation annually.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Estimate costs for LED lighting, EV charging, and Solar projects
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects
- Create detailed project post mordems
- Manage and incorporate scope changes into estimates
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information
- Assist with procurement and subcontractor pricing
- Process and price change orders for ongoing projects
- Prepare and maintain project drawings, specifications, and scope documents
- Collaborate with project managers to align estimates with budgets and timelines
- Uphold and promote Thrive’s core values in all work

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Electrical Trade Certificate, Electrical Engineering Degree, or Electrical Technologist Diploma/Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working on institutional, commercial, or industrial building project estimates
- Preference for those experienced with LED lighting, EV charging, and solar installations
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Experience using Bluebeam and AutoCAD
- Strong technology skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right the first time
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, no-ego environment
- Class 5 Driver’s License (required)
- Access to a suitable home office for remote work
