**Role Summary**

Develops programs to use on CMM’s for dimensional inspection of manufactured products. Use CMM’s and other Monitoring and Measuring Equipment to inspect product for dimensional conformance according to production schedule. Reads and interprets Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) data. Complies with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements; supports goals and objectives. Provide support for production inspection and CMM.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Reads and understands blueprints, specifications, and work instructions including GD&T data on machine prints.
- Generates and troubleshoots CMM programs and prove-out of CMM programs using OpenDMIS & Zeiss Calypso software.
- MacForm and ADCOLE programming & troubleshooting
- Perform CMM inspections for final layout on components and analyze features to GD&T requirements.
- Perform inspections as required using multiple measurement and monitoring equipment.
- GD&T expert working with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to understand correct GD&T measurement techniques based on engineering requirements, machining processes, and part functionality.
- Works with CAD models.
- Generate inspection reports and FPQ reports.
- Develop Q-Das interface computer programming files.
- Requires mínimal supervision to support manufacturing needs.
- Drive continual improvement in inspection methods.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Associates degree in engineering or related technical field (or Highschool Diploma / GED with at least 4 additional years of experience related to precision manufacturing and inspection)
- 3 years of work experience with CMM Programming
