**Join our Central Fraser Valley operations as an Operations Manager**

As an Operations Manager at Transdev Canada, you will be a key player in overseeing and managing the day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and the highest level of service for our clients and passengers. This role involves leadership, operational optimization, and regulatory compliance.

**Your role**
- Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.
- Resolving employee concerns, grievances, and interdepartmental challenges with efficiency and professionalism.
- Enhancing processes, optimizing route scheduling, and improving resource utilization.
- Leading recruitment efforts, evaluating staff performance, and providing clear direction to on-road teams.
- Cultivating a positive, accountable workplace culture that encourages collaboration and transparency.
- Partnering with Safety and Training teams to meet safety goals and foster a “Safety First” environment.
- Supporting accident and incident investigations with on-site assistance as needed.
- Overseeing department budgets, including regular and overtime hours, and addressing variances.
- Coordinating with Maintenance to ensure vehicles and equipment are readily available.
- Managing and adapting service schedules for peak periods, special events, and unforeseen disruptions.
- Upholding confidentiality and ensuring sensitive information is handled with discretion.
- Operating a vehicle in revenue service if required.
- Handling additional responsibilities as needed to support operational success.

**Your profile**
- Minimum three (3) years of operations experience in a fixed route operation, or airport shuttle service of similar size and scope
- Thorough knowledge of basic provincial laws, ordinances and regulations underlying the transit operation
- Thorough knowledge of the methods of operation of the transit system’s staff and operational departments
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and relevant database programs
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize and perform work efficiently; strong attention to details
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with labor; may include labor grievances and negotiations
- Must be willing to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working in an environment that regularly requires standing, walking, using hands to manipulate, handle or feel, reaching with hands or arms, and talking or hearing.
- Comfortable working in an environment where you are frequently required to sit. Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl, and smell. Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.
