**What Will You Do?**
- Plan load coverage for pick-ups and deliveries. Prioritize time sensitive/urgent freight requests.
- Review fleet personnel to ensure proper allocation of resources and equipment to maximize operational efficiencies.
- Schedule company and agency drivers.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
- Monitor and report on scheduled departure and driver delay times.
- Provide continuous communication to all dispatch/operations personnel to move freight efficiently.
- Establish routing based on contract requirements and update as needed.
- Prepare various daily, weekly and monthly dashboard reports. Dashboards will measure, number of miles per truck, number of miles per driver, rate per mile and empty miles.
- Assist with vacation coverage and shift coverage as required.
- Assist the dispatch team when required.
- All other duties as required.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- 2 years of experience in a similar position in the transportation industry.
- Dispatch experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the GTA area is required.
- Knowledge of AS400 preferred and Microsoft Office required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility for shift coverage considered an asset.

**Ce que vous allez faire**:

- Planifier la couverture des chargements pour les enlèvements et les livraisons. Classer par ordre de priorité les demandes de fret urgentes ou sensibles au facteur temps.
- Examiner le personnel de la flotte pour s'assurer de la bonne affectation des ressources et des équipements afin de maximiser l'efficacité opérationnelle.
- Programmer les chauffeurs de l'entreprise et de l'agence.
- Identifier les possibilités d'amélioration et de réduction des coûts.
- Contrôler et rendre compte des départs pro
