Innovative Access is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic installer to join our high-rise equipment installation team in the Ottawa - Gatineau region. The installer will collaborate with our design and project management team to redefine Ottawa-Gatineau’s skyline. Our team specializes in the design, fabrication, installation and testing of high-rise access equipment for window cleaning, building maintenance, and fall protection systems.

You will be an important part of the team from the beginning of a project all the way through fabrication and construction of our high-rise maintenance equipment. If you are up for a challenge and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this position is for you.

**Your Role**:

- Assist project foreman with installation of window cleaning and fall protection equipment. This includes but is not limited to roof anchors, davit bases, horizontal lifeline systems, etc.
- Assist engineer and project foreman with load testing and commissioning of equipment on-site.
- Prepare tools, equipment, and materials prior to site work.
- Organize equipment and inventory.
- Assist project foreman and design team with mock-ups prior to installation.
- Assist with the development of new equipment concepts and in-house testing of prototypes.
- Assist with transportation of equipment and deliveries.

**Abilities**:

- Work physically and lift heavy items at times.
- Climb ladders and flights of stairs as required.
- Working with hand tools and powered tools.
- Enthusiastic and positive mindset.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid working at heights training will be considered an asset.
- Valid government security clearance will be considered an asset.
- Valid drivers G licence.

**Hourly Rate: $22.50**

- Monday to Friday
