**Grieg Seafood BC** operates 22 farms and a hatchery in BC and employs 180 people in coastal communities. GSF BC is licensed to produce 23,400 tonnes of salmon annually to North American and Asian markets.

Grieg Seafood BC Ltd., a dynamic and growing company in the Aquaculture industry, is seeking a full-time Site Manager to support our production team. The Site Manager is responsible for all farm operations including growth performance of the stocks, feeding, husbandry, inventory purchases, maintaining contractor relationships and management and security of stock. Other responsibilities include organizing and coordinating work crews and assessing staffing needs. The Site Manager leads a team of one or more Assistant Site Manager and Technicians.

Education & Experience:

- B.Sc. or related degree in Aquaculture, Aquatic Resources or Fisheries Resources Management;
- A minimum four years’ recent related experience;
- A combination of related education and experience may be considered.

- Strong leadership skills;
- Excellent Project Management Skills;
- Excellent planning, organizational and forecasting skills;
- Strong financial management skills;
- Physically fit;
- Ability to problem solve;
- Well-developed interpersonal skills;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong report-writing skills;
- Computer proficiency;
- Proficient in use of FishTalk or similar fish health management software;
- In depth knowledge of all company policies, procedures and government regulations;
- Able to train Aquaculture Technicians to company Standard Operating Procedures;
- Ability to understand and direct plans in support of FCR and Growth Performance;
- Proficient math skills;
- Favourable driver's license.
