**Job Specifications**:

- Starting Wage: $22 / hour
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

**Responsibilities**:

- To continually strive to exceed our Guest’s expectations and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience again and again
- Must have own ski/snowboard equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in an alpine environment during periods of adverse conditions
- Park set up, maintain, and take down including signage, banners, fencing, and feature shoveling/raking.
- Assist set up, maintain, and take down for Terrain Park events and photo shoots.
- Safety trouble-shooting in the Terrain Park and Half Pipe including:

- Tower pad maintenance
- Jump/feature closures
- Crowd control/traffic direction
- Proper sign and banner placement
- Address guest ability level issues
- Appropriate safety signage in place.
- Guest Relations and Mountain Host for the Terrain Park as well as the entire resort.
- Deal with guests violating park etiquette rules and closures.
- Reports accidents, secures accident sight, assists patrol.
- Spot jumps during busy periods.
- Maintain park log book, including daily rider counts and records of all incidents.
- General building maintenance, shoveling and trash removal for all buildings within the Terrain Park.
- Perform daily morning Tool Box Safety Meetings
- Delegating daily operational tasks to Terrain Park Hosts
- Moderating Feature Testing
- Daily grooming requests submitted to grooming department
- Working with the Grooming on jump/feature design, park layout, Snow Cross design

- Responsibility for Equipment: In charge of mountain radio, sound system, fencing, banners, event materials, shovels, rakes and drills.
- Responsibility for Equipment: Ensuring personal ski/snowboard equipment is in proper working condition.
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- Must have outgoing, friendly personality and show commitment to exceeding guests expectations at all times
- Must be a hard working team player
- Must be a strong skier or snowboarder in all types of conditions - 4 years minimum
- Must be a confident riding 65% of Terrain Park features
- Must pass a ski/ride test to ensure expert level
- Ability to lift and ski/ride with up to, and sometimes more than 50lbs
- 1 year terrain park experience a must
- Any event experience an asset
- Required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
