We are expanding into other locations and are looking for the right individual to join our team.

**Position Overview**:
The Bookkeeper will be a key member of our administrative and finance team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You’ll play an essential role in maintaining day-to-day accounting processes and supporting decision-making by producing timely and accurate reports.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with precision and timeliness
- Prepare and file GST, payroll, and other government remittances
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly
- Process bi-weekly payroll and assist with maintaining payroll records
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
- Collaborate with leadership and external accountants to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Use and maintain accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, MS Dynamics, SAGE)
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Help prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Support compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits as needed

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in construction or field services
- Proficient with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards and CRA compliance
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
- Diploma or certification in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance preferred

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
