**Job Title**: Bilingual (Portuguese-speaking) Personal Support Worker (PSW)

**Location**: Hamilton, Ontario, L8P

**About the Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and other nutritional needs.
- Monitor clients' health conditions and promptly report any changes.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Assist with mobility and exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare staff to create individualized care plans.

**Requirements**:

- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker.
- Clear criminal record check.
- ** Fluent in Portuguese and English** to ensure clear communication with clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanour.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (preferred but not required).
