8+ years of experience with IT systems administration and engineering, including maintaining responsibility for high systems availability and secure systems posture, such as patching and maintenance Ability to solve difficult technical challenges on a global scale independently and as a team member The Administrator will keep the Active Directory environment up to date with the latest Microsoft updates/patches and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines to ensure compliance with Information Assurance programs within DLA

**Mandate Skill set**:
Strong Knowledge in PowerShell coding Strong Knowledge in Active Directory Administration

**Good to have**

Strong knowledge in Quest ARS. Strong knowledge in Quest One Identity manager Strong knowledge Hitachi Password manager

**Responsibilities for this position include**:
Ability to provide Server 2008 R2 and above support 8 or more years engineering or architecture experience delivering Windows server solutions in large scale enterprise server estate Provide successful onsite delivery of Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2012 r2, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2 and 3rd party solutions for the firm globally Mid-to-Senior experience with VMWare 5/6 ie., VMWare vSphere ESXi, VMWare vSphere vCenter, VMWare Update Manager, VMWare Site Recovery Ability to provide Server 2008 R2 and above support 8 or more years engineering or architecture experience delivering Windows server solutions in large scale enterprise server estate

Managing AD / DHCP / DNS Services, File Server.

Manage group policy at root of domain and for Domain Controllers OU, and different OU in hierarchy

Manage the Users and Computers Containers in AD console

Designing and Testing Group Policies at Enterprise level Active Directory model

Group Policy Object (GPO) administration, troubleshooting, and management

Manage Group Policy Object (GPO) links in OU hierarchy

Creation of GPO templates and linking, Linking GPOs and understanding hierarchy of GPO applied

Linking multiple Group Policy Objects.

Policy inheritances And Force enablement

Blocking and enforcing Group Policy.

MSI and MST file/software deployment through GPO

Different default group policy settings available and can be configured in GPMC

Customized GROUP policy settings

Assigning and publishing software's to computers and users in domain, OU etc.

Drive mapping via login script when needed from OU manager

Knowledge of ADMX template ad GPO template

Consolidation of GPOs and restructuring

Auditing and Delegation of permissions related to GPOs and OU, Provide OU Admins assistance when requested and required

Ensure overall security and integrity of managed OU hierarchy

Use the OU admin privilege account only for actions that require the privilege level of this account Monitoring changes to OU hierarchy to ensure unauthorized changes do not occur Delegation of authority to others for appropriate object administration in their OU hierarchy

Building scripts and assigning them through GPO, Scripting, PowerShell knowledge

Tweaking for fast logon, user profile and folder redirection

Controlling Desktop access (limited) via GPO

Setting options for registry-based policy, scripts, and loopback policy.

Registry-based Policies and settings

Knowledge of different version of Microsoft 's O.S (Workstations, Servers) and related GPO settings

Policy monitoring and compliance

Backup and Restoration of GPO data and Organizational Unit in case of deletion/corruption
