**Mamakas Taverna is looking for a Food Runner to join our team**

Location: 80 Ossington Ave.

Compensation: $15 an hour + weekly tip out

**Summary of responsibilities**:

- Assist servers and management staff on the floor during operating hours to maintain overall flow of service
- Deliver food and drinks to tables quickly and accurately, communicating with FOH and kitchen staff as needed
- Maintaining general cleanliness of the restaurant and expo station
- Clearing unnecessary plates and glassware from tables during and after guests leave
- Sanitizing and resetting tables
- Cleaning, polishing cutlery as needed
- Respond to guests and their requests, promptly relaying to servers

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in a full service restaurant (1 year)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

**Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to)**:

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- Food Running: 1 year (preferred)
