**Job Description**:
**Job Purpose**:
Design, implement and maintain systems and process, to strengthen our organization’s Global Trade Compliance Program, supporting strategic initiatives and managing risk, associated with global expansion, and changing regulatory landscape, in the apparel and footwear industry

**Qualifications**:
**What You'll Do**:

- Develop and deliver a global, multi-year trade business roadmap for Apparel and Footwear manufacturing and a multi-channel commercial model; work with Technology team to align systems needs with the corporate Technology roadmap
- Lead capability mapping from current business and Trade Chain Partner/Agencies requirements, for import and export in over 10 jurisdictions
- Define the cross-functional dependencies and Import/Export benefits from labelling, weight and packaging compliance, and deliver an automated tracking process
- Leverage Inventory Management System, Intercompany Pricing Methodology and BOM data for Traceability and Valuation due diligence
- Partner with Business Lead to document and educate GEO's SME on limitation and 'out of scope' areas, with guidance on how to manage trade compliance risk, by implementing country level solution
- Implement systematic process to manage for HS, Origin, FTA eligibility, Valuation, UOM, and Bonded transactions
- Accountable for UAT sign off on Trade Data, collaborating with systems experts and key internal and external stakeholders’ tools at 'go-live' and drive solutioning on gaps and confirm Record Keeping process is adequate, globally
- Develop cross-functional and Trade Chain Partner dependencies plan, communicate and engage stakeholder for inputs on impacts and risk mitigation strategy on system implementation
- Timely status reporting on risk to existing system, people, process, including due diligence, recording keeping and security audits, in alignment to Service Level Agreements
- Lead internal and external deliverable for effectiveness of systems, by building and maintaining Trade Data Repository, for integration to and from Brokers/Customs, audits, duty management, reconciliation, payment and refund
- Leverage Team, Partners’ SLA and KPI for budgetary control and systems output, delivering best in class Global Trade Operations, Compliance, ERM, Duty Management and Reconciliation
- Manage systems globally to onboard and maintain Supply Chain Security (C-TPAT, PIP, AEO), including RPS/DPS
- Input as a SME on key initiatives such as Data Governance framework, Traceability and Vendor tools
- Application of Trade and IT technical knowledge and experience to drive the successful transformation, from manual to technology driven Global Trade and Internal Control program
- Coach and develop team and support cross-functional collaborators, partners and agencies

**Expected Outcomes**:

- Optimize trade capabilities for global expansion, by staying current on industry trends and best practices to define criteria selection of strategic Global Trade Technology partner; sponsor RFP or other selection projects
- Deliver on technology focused initiatives to enable a CG's vision towards a 'best in class Trade Operation and Compliance Program
- Drive enhancement of existing Trade tools to elevated efficiency and compliance, with transition process to selected Global Trade Technology partner, in a phased approach
- SME access to systems with agile capabilities, to adapt to a changing Global Trade landscape and a dynamic Global Business model
- All other support for Global Trade Compliance, Supply Chain predictability, Partner Management and Financial planning

**Experience, Education and Designations**:

- College/University Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology or Supply Chain
- Minimum 10 years experience in Enterprise Assessment and clear recommendation to enable Global Trade Systems implementation and maintenance
- In depth knowledge of Apparel and Footwear Compliance pertaining to attributes, data management, consolidation, and document creation
- Minimum of at least 2 full-life cycle on implementation and a solid understanding of project methodology and milestones
