**What are we looking for?**
The incumbent will act as an expert and liaison between the business needs of the various teams and the Information Technology Department.
**Your day-to-day**
Reporting to the Senior Director - IT, the main responsibilities of the Business Analyst are the following:

- Responsible for understanding the business needs of internal customers and transforming them into technical solutions;
- Propose best business practices and identify value-added solutions to internal customers;
- Responsible for system evolution, i.e., managing change requests and evolution cycles by establishing project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and defining business specifications;
- Document key business processes in the form of user requirements and software specifications;
- Maintain system documentation for security and access management in accordance with regulatory requirements;
- Manage assigned projects and initiatives;
- Support users in best practices for system usage.

**Your skills, our requirements**
- College or university degree or equivalent experience;
- Project Management certification is an asset;
- Minimum of 3 years experience in IT development or in a similar position;
- Experience in implementing computerized solutions and/or managing projects - both traditional and agile approaches an asset;
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of computerized systems;
- Understanding of the IT systems development lifecycle;
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills;
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills;
- Customer oriented with experience in business analysis, requirement gathering and systems solution implementation;
- Fluently bilingual (French and English), both verbal and written; knowledge of Spanish is an asset;
- Microsoft Office;
- Knowledge of Sharepoint, an asset;
- Project Management tool;
- Systems analysis and design tools;
- Knowledge of ticketing tools is an asset (ex: Jira).

The position is located at our head office in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil/Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
