We are looking to hire a manual lathe machinist who is efficient, fast, responsible, and willing to rise the ranks for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating manual lathe and manual precision milling machines, to manufacture precision quality products. The machinist is responsible for independent machine setup, first piece validation and exceptional quality. To ensure success as a lathe machinist and raise the ranks for this company they require someone who is competent and has a great work ethic.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Create and fabricate metal parts as required by the specifications
- Setup and operate lathe machine
- Work from process sheets, blueprints, and/or verbal instructions
- Maintain a safe and clean work area, report any broken pieces of equipment
- Read micrometres, vernier callipers, etc

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years experience in operating Manual Lathe Machines
- Previous work experience using hand tools and measuring devices

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Manual Lathe: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: One location
